Printing i1 Testchart for profiling

  • Subject: Printing i1 Testchart for profiling

Greetings,

Although the i1 TC 9.18 RGB Testchart is untagged,
am I right in assuming that the i1 software
(combined with printing it out through Preview
standard setting)
 prints it out properly
for Spectrophotometer profiling purpose?

And, what if it is printed through Photoshop CS?
Would I need to make sure that the Color Settings
are set up any specific way, and/or assign a profile
to the chart.

I have heard that Colormatch provides the closest
space for
the Epson R2400 printer's conversion from rgb to cmyk?
Is that accurate?

Thanks for any clarication.

Regards,
Diana
