Spectrolino/SpectroScan

I am in the market for a new measuring device. I will primarily be reading in inkjet canvas material and some water color papers.

Is the Spectrolino/SpectroScan still the best way to go even though slow as a turtle or should I consider the i1 with the i0 device? Some of the canvas has optical brighteners and some don’t,

I will be using Profile Maker 5.07 which of course has the switch for optical brighteners so a UV filter is not required and am I to assume that gretag does not even recommend using the UV cut filter on the Spectrolino/SpectroScan or even the i1. Just let Profile Maker make the adjustment?

Any other suggestions

Thanks

Steven Kornreich
