The weird thing about this is that we had used the relatively quiet
holiday period to have a big sort out in the studio and had trashed
almost every test and wasted proof over last weekend :-(
But we did stick a couple of test proofs in our microwave oven
yesterday and achieved the same yellow bias - although very uneven -
with 60 seconds at 900W...
And we had noted the friction problem when removing dust from a print
on Epson stock a couple of years back and rubbed a couple of proofs
and got the same change on the EFI paper yesterday.
I'm testing a couple of proofs at the moment by leaving them on top
of the viewing booths in gentle heat for a couple of days. The
weather has been sweltering in London over the last couple of weeks -
but this is a big agency and I doubt that they store their proofs in
anything other than standard office environments.
I'm puzzled, and a bit peeved because this isn't a cheap paper stock.
