Using PS CS2 to create a tiff with ROMM-RGB, saving it, and
extracting the profile with ColorThink Pro gives the following in CT

Lab: 95.58, -0.02, 0.02
LCH: 95.58, 0.02, 134.31
Yxy: 0.890, 0.346, 0.359
Luv: 95.58, 0.21, 0.49
5000°K
Black Point:
XYZ: 0.003, 0.003, 0.003
Lab: 2.80, -0.05, 0.01
LCH: 2.80, 0.05, 162.86
Yxy: 0.003, 0.345, 0.359
Luv: 2.80, 0.21, 0.49
5000°K
==========================
ProPhoto:
White Point:

Luv: 100.00, 0.21, 0.49
5000°K
Black Point
Not defined.
The profiles are clearly not the same, and ROMM-RGB is not simply a
re-named ProPhotoRGB. The curves are distinctly different, as are
the 3D gamut plots.
