But not the device. That's what I meant when I wrote that it doesn't
linearize "anything" (meaning "anything in the device itself").
Nothing changes in how the device prints by just using a testchart that has
slightly different color patches. It's still the same exact device, behaving
exactly the same way, but just characterized differently thanks to a
different set of color values in the testchart.
