Basiccolor and/or Imageprint issue

  • Subject: Basiccolor and/or Imageprint issue

Hello,
Just profiled an Apple 17" Studio Display with Basiccolor 4.02.
Settings: 16 bit LUT based, v2 profile, L* tonal response curve,
luminance: White Max, Black Max, chromatic adaptation: none.
Validation shows average delta E of 0.4 and max 1.3

Images opened in ImagePrint 6.0 build 1.3.3 display the pasteboard white as 100% cyan, and
whites within a tiff image as green
very strange. However,
when I build a matrix based profile using Basiccolor, the problem disappears.
Same results with both Mac Tiger and Panther.
Comments appreciated.
Martin Paul
