Hi
Anybody else using this very good tool for certifying monitors? It is a
screen version of the Fogra Media Wedge, that checks monitors to the
Fogra/ISO printing conditions.
Interestingly I have found that only the Eizo CG210, 220, the new 221
(thanks for the loan, Eizo UK) and the NEC SpectaView monitors 'pass' the
test. I guess the Quattro monitors do as they are supplied bundled with this
tool.
Also the Eizo ColorNav software only just enables the CG210's to 'scrape'
the test, but by using the latest version of BasiColorDisplay v4.02 it
passes well inside the figures needed.
The solid Cyan is still the poorest area on all monitors, the 210's showing
over 20 De, the 220 and 221 over 7 De.
Has anybody got any figures from the software using these or other monitors?
It would me interesting to compare notes.
If anybody would like to see the reports please contact me off list.
Regards
Paul Sherfield
