Disable Colorsync?

Hello

How do I have to configure Colorsync before printing a test chart for the
profilation of a printer?

I guess I just have to deactivate or disable Colorsync, but where? (Mac OS X
10.4.8)

In Photoshop I know all the settings, but I'm not sure if Colorsync might
interfere in a way.
