OK. Assume the standard KCMY sequence. Assume further that the inks
are
formulated by decreasing tack level (k highest). My question is,

make sense to discuss measured ink trapping (Preucil equation or

at just any densities levels? Like the original poster reported
some trap
values for R, G and B. Aren't the reported values meaningless if
they were
not measured at the target solid ink densities for CMY?

I see what you're saying. The assumption is that you'd be measuring
trap under standard operating conditions, like dot gain or print
contrast.
You might measure it, for diagnostic or testing purposes, under other
conditions, though.
