Normally when u produce certified proofs the "certification process" is linked to when the proof is produced. I run Kodak Matchprint - we have a defined period to do the certification ( I think its 30 - 60 mins after proof is produced.) otherwise we are ruled out of time

Fogra 39 has just been released using ISOCoatedV2 and that will be much better than Fogra27
Peter, this is the first I’ve heard of having a defined time limit in which to do a proof verification. Is this something defined in the ISO standards?
Can you tell me more about how this time limit is defined?
No offense to Peter but I the reason is that he's running one of the Kodak-OEM'd HP 5500 printers that NEED a bit of time to stabilize, unlike the current crop of Epsons using Ultrachrome ink. Ultrachrome ink pretty darn stable after about 30 min. or so whereas the HP printers need at least 24-48 hours before they are truly stable. Same used to be true of the old Epson 10000's running the Photo Dye inks. Bottom line, if you're running an Epson with Ultrachrome ink, you've got nothing to worry about compared to those proofing using the previous generation of HPs.
Several have mentioned the “soon to be released” Fogra 39 here on the list already – but I see nothing yet on the ECI or FOGRA sites?
I'm not sure where Peter gets his information but AFAIK the Fogra39 data set has not been publicly released nor are there any official ICC profiles available from this data set.
