basICColor display will natively drive the LaCie Electron Blue's using DDC
connectivity. It also does an outstanding job of calibrating and profiling
all flat panels. If the Viewsonic or Electron Blues have been driven hard
over the years, one can not hope for ideal results with any calibration
package (but then again I am sure you have already thought of that). The
best chance that you have to produce optimized results would be through
finding the native white point of each flat panel and then creating a
workgroup setting. Likewise, the CRTs would require an evaluation of their
remaining useful life and determining which might be classified pro quality
and which might be palette or "word processing" quality. The pro quality
can be set to D65 if they are stand-alone or approach the workgroup
flatpanel white point if they are part of a 2 display system on a given
computer.

Incidently, I have to calibrate 16 different monitors for a client. He has
some LaCIE 321 Flatrons, for which he purchased the BlueEye calibrator. He
has some Viewsonic CRTs, some 22" LaCIE ElectronBlue CRTs, 23" Cinema
Displays, 20" Cinema Displays, 20" iMac and a few others I can't remember.
Any suggestions on the approach I should take?
