Hi Razvan,

to find the right settings for the six inks is normally the task of the base linearisation you do
with the EFI RIP.

This linearisation has the direct influence at the driver level to distinguish when to use
the normal inks or the light inks or a combination of that.

After a good linearisation the device should behave pretty much as a CMYK device
for paper profile creation. So no need for a "multicolor" target.

Regards

Rolf

Hi,
I have a CMYKLcLm device ( Kodak ) and the RIP producer ( EFI ) advice me to profile the printer like a CMYKLcLm device and not CMYK or RGB. Is there any standard chart and reference files and where can I find them ? ( I have PM5 which does not have such charts )
Thanks
Razvan
