Many Repro houses don't even know what it's all about. Having the
label puts your work in the top league where it is very hard to
question anything you've done, and it is obvious even to clients with
15 seconds of explanation.
I personally make labels on all singular proofs. For larger batchs (I
did 290 pages in a day last week) I do labels for every 5-10 proofs
or so. And once in a while you actually catch a blocked nozzle that
way and thus ensure that you actually DO supply top notch work, and
not just think you do...
