Sorry to butt in
but if its CMYK then all ink should conform to the ISO standard - the profile u should use is ISO coated for Europe or SWOP for US - if its pantone CMYK splits u are using then u should use the Pantone colourbridge library EC for Europe or PC for US.
These profiles make sure that the conversion from RGB to CMYK is adjusted to take in account of the slightly differing colours between  the US process set and the European set
