Whoever does it best deserves to become the king of the hill. No? If
Microsoft is building an advanced CIECAM system into Windows, even though
its their own flavor, and the implementation is well done, then they deserve
market leadership, no question; doesn't everyone want what works best, do we
know many clients in these days of intense print competion, who can afford
NOT to have the best color appearance matching technology? Apple publically
stated their intention at the last GATF Color Management Conference NOT to
embrace CIECAM, perhaps out of stubborness. But that does not mean "the rest
of us" have to stand by the wayside while Microsoft pass us by at supersonic
speed.
