I've read with interest the discussion of various types of SWOP issues
in this list.
Now I find myself needing to make a SWOP proof on my newly purchased
Epson 9800.
My goal is to make the best possible proof with the highest detail and
"most accurate color."
Could I get some guidance on profiles, paper, and details of how to make
the best proof I can?
what do you think about

It's beyond my comprehension why the "usual" way to get the
characterization data (http://www.color.org/CGATS TR 001.html) is
barred by a "tollgate".
