Hi All

Can someone please explain what is happening to the appearance of Grayscale's, created in Photoshop and placed in to InDesign (same colour settings) ?

When I create a 20% dot gain grayscale in PS It appears darker when placed in InDesign, and this darker appearance remains when exported to PDF.

I realise InDesign does not have a Grayscale space as such, so what does it do ? And Is the Photoshop preview more indicative of how it will print, assuming the press conditions are consistent with the Photoshop gray space.
