Hello,
I am trying to build a profile for a Canon CLC color laser
photocopier, and the resulted profile was color accurate, but extremely grainy.
I didn't linearize because I thought you don't have to for
laser printers.
I have used PM5 with the Laser preset at Separations when I generated
the targets.
Did the grain means that I have to linearize?
Can I fix it with Post linearization or I have to Pre
linearize?
Any suggested settings for the GCR / UCR Seperations Dialog
(and where should I use them In target building or in Profile Making)?
Please assist. I never build
profiles for CMYK lasers and I am really confused!
Thank you in advanced.
Michael.
