Title: FW: Unprofiled printer preview
Hi Edmund,

assuming you are to profile your press and have done this, if you just want to check images in Photoshop which are in cmyk mode, you can use the soft proof functionality by activating the preserve cmyk values button (my translation but I don´t have an english version here). Then you will see how the images would look like if there is no color transformation applied to them.

Karsten.

Hi folks,

I'm interested in an unprofiled printer preview - in other words, I want to run a profiling testchart through a printer, measure, and then be able to preview/softproof  the results I'd get *with this workflow* without computing a profile. How do I do this ?

Edmund
