We run curved plates to match the GRACoL 7 tone curve. When we switched to
digital halftone proofing and CTP, our legacy standard was Analog
waterproof. Three years ago, we lowered the dot gain targets to match the
GRACoL 6 spec, around 20%. Now with the GRACoL 7 targets, our plates are
near linear, and dot gains are in the mid to high teens.
