Yes, now that you mention it, this is indeed the case. And I should have
thought of it because I did use it once when I created profiles for a local
photo lab. But the thought that it was LUT-base did not cross my mind at
that time, it was a requirement of my client.

I wonder if, even though it is LUT-based, does it still share the same
characteristics of of its matrix/TRC cousins in that equalRGB values are
considered gray? And what is the reference whit point? D50, I presume, since
it is a "photographic" based kind of profile. Hmmh. I'll have to do some
reseach.
