I believe you can contact Joe Holmes at <http://www.joeholmes.com>. He charged $100 for the 12-chroma-variant version, and offered a 4-chroma-variant for free, I believe.
His suggested workflow is to convert into the primary space, and then apply the version that applies the proper amount of saturation compression/expansion.
I personally prefer to use a Lab-based approach for that now. But I've gotten out of the habit of using it, and should give it another shot from my current perspective. He certainly makes very dramatic photographic images using it.
