Yes on the Mac it's very simple. Well on OsX that is.
In root/Library/Scripts/Colorsync folder there are scripts to do many things
concerning profiles. On is precisely Extract profile.
Drop a tiff onto this Apple Script and it'll ask you where to save the
profile.
