Default rendering intents

Hi all,

I'm trying to change the default rendering intent from perceptual to relative in a few profiles and I can't seem to able to do it.

If I try it with Profile Editor:
Profile Editor has this functionality and it tells me that it's done it , but when I go back and check the saved profile, it hasn't changed and it's still set to perceptual in profile editor. If I check the saved profile in color think pro it tells me the default rendering intent is Absolute?

If I try with Color Think 3.0 pro
I change the rendering intent in color think pro and save the profile, upon inspection of the saved profile using color think it seems to have various possible outputs, nome of them what I expect/ want. It has either changed the default CMM from Apple to Microsoft, changed the rendering to Absolute, or it's

I suppose I 'm quite lost and I'd like to know if any one knows any reliable way to set and check this setting in a version2 profile.

thanks
