Photoshop can display the equivalent DCS file correctly with the extra
channels. That image should look equally different to your print as any
other testchart does.
A trick that works with Photoshop is to encode the extra channels as
alpha plane extra samples. It won't give the right color, but it
does let the TIFF be loaded, and all the planes examined.
