Can't find a review of any of the new Canon printers; has someone
actually seen prints, or played with a unit, or got hold of a profile?
comments?
- IPF5000 and IPF9000: 12-color Lucia (pigment) inks,
CMYK+RGB+LcLmLk+LLk+matte_k
- Pixma Pro9500: 10-color Lucia (pigment), CMYK+RG+LcLmLk+matte_k
- Pixma Pro9000: 8-color Chromalife100 (dye), CMYK+RG+LcLm
I wonder how well do the Lucia inks stack against Ultrachrome or K3 in
terms of gamut... and also the Chromalife 100, since dye is not
necessarily a bad thing for proofing when it's stable enough.
