With PMP I don't see a difference but with SpectralVision and MonacoProfiler I have found instances in which using a non-UV device led to problems. Small problems that would be insignificant to some, but problems nonetheless.
Both with and without the check box for compensation? I’m not seeing an issue with this product either. So the question is, does software compensation work as advertised (I’d say yes) and 2nd, what’s up with the little check box for compensation? It makes a tiny differences in the numbers but not enough to see the results on output. It would be lovely now that X-Rite and GMB are one happy family if we could come to some conclusions if these devices need a cut filter or not.
I also suggest we once again read Robin Myers excellent post of September 8th of this year on the subject! It was very enlighting to say the least.
