Launch Terminal and do "sips -h" and "sips -H", or "man sips" to see all the things it can do. You can embed profiles, delete profiles, extract profiles, resize an image, get information about an image or profiles. To embed a profile you'd do something like this:
sips -e /System/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/sRGB\ Profile.icc /Volumes/hd-ceres/john/Desktop/flower.png
you could also do that to an entire folder of images, like:
sips -e /System/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/sRGB\ Profile.icc /Volumes/hd-ceres/john/Desktop/picturefolder/*
