Ok, Epson 3800's "introductory price" here is almost half as much as
that of the 4800.
So what's there to miss if one would buy a 3800 instead of a 4800 ?
I understand it uses 80ml cartridges and you can't plug the 220ml
cartridges from a 7800, the way you can do in a 4800. So ink cost will
be about 30% higher probably.
But besides that? what abilities do you lose? is the paper tray
shallower or flimsier? is the printer less robust? slower? any
features, interfases, etc. taken away and turned into 'optional'?
If not, it's only a matter of calculating ROI with ink prices and
prints/month, to decide between them...
