The .mrf file is an unpublished binary file format used by Monaco for
their custom reflective targets since they disabled IT8.7/2 support
in EZColor V1.5(???). You need a standard IT8 reference file wich is
mainly based on the CGATS.5 ASCII text based format standard in order
to use the target with IT8.7/2 or CGATS.5 based tools.
The slide film targets are based on the IT8.7/1 standard and Monaco
does support the standard. So here you can use the standard IT8 files
available online from the Monaco website.
At least for the IT8 targets produced by me during the last 2-3 years
you can also get spectral data files in various formats (incl. CxF
for MeasureTool/ColorLab) on request if not already shipped with the
IT8 target.
