Eric,
Perhaps I misunderstand your problem, but you should be able to open
RGB targets in Preview, Graphic Converter, or other nonb-color-
managed application, which will not perform any conversion (though
the onscreen appearance will be controlled by the monitor profile).
The file can then be printed through the manufacturer's printer
driver with color management turned off. If it's an Epson printer,
this option can be found by clicking on the "Advanced" button.
Needless to say, all subsequent printing through that profile
(assuming conversion in the application) will have to be done with
the same driver settings applied.
Best regards,
Mike Strickler

I've had several customers contact me in the past few weeks who
want custom
profiles built. They only own Lightroom or in one case Aperture.
Neither of
these programmes are capable (from what I can tell) to print un-colour
managed .tiff targets. As my last post kind of confirmed that its not
possible to print .tiff targets from Lightroom (thank you David)
and Apple
documentation says that you can't in Aperature, these two apps are
creating
what may amount to a huge problem for amateur photographers who
don't want
to buy Lightroom/Aperture AND photoshop.
I'm trying to figure out a solution for these people. They only
need a way
of printing out the tif targets without having them colour managed.
Has anyone any ideas or solutions?
Thanks
Eric
