I think what Scott meant was not the Spectroplate, but the new
product by Techkon called the SpectroDens.
I had a chance to play with one during a recent G7 training class at
GATF, and the graphic interface was very intuitive for pressmen to
use to try to bring neutrality into tolerance. It had many other
bells and whistles that I didn't get to fully see.

The Teckon SpectroPlate is a plate reader made for plate calibration.
It does not read color, only dots values on the printing plate.
If you are looking for a curve calibration/calculation software for
any printing reference standard, you can take a look at PerfX Press
Curves™, which allows to calculate TVI or Gray balance curves.

Has anyone used a Techkon SpectroPlate for G7 press calibration?
Care to comment on how it's included software compares to IDEALink
Curve?
