I need to create custom color chart to profile my Epson 9800 with
color values
from 0 to 100 for C,M,Y every 5% with K values
0,5,15,25,50,65,75,85 and 100.
Random is better but Visual is fine. I have tried ProfileMaker and
ColorPort
without any luck. I don't want to kill myself in Excel. Does
anyone knows how
to do it?

Easy enough to do, and for free.
First build your target in Photoshop or Illustrator. If you begin in
Illustrator, you'll need to convert the file into a TIF. This file
only needs to be just the barest minimum for resolution.
Open the TIF file in ColorLab (free download). Go to Filter>Layout
and Format>Spot colors. Set the Width to the number of patches across
and the Height to the number of patches tall. Then go to File>Export
and save as a text file.
Now go to ColorPort (also free). In the Create Target tab go to Patch
Set>New. Hit the Import Patches button at the top and direct the
program to the text file you just created. Set all your other
parameters and hit Save Target. You now have a target and reference
file.
You also could just go into Patch Set>New and type everything in
here, but I'm not sure how you get a reference file out of it.
