Fuji FinalProof till I ran some job with neutrals in highlight. My gmg
proof was too warm. I need to make it ,match closer.
Highlight neutrals are especially difficult when the paper white of
the target media is cooler/warmer/darker/lighter than the paper white
of the proofing media. If you are mostly impressed with the GMG then
your most efficient route might be choosing a stock for your GMG that
more closely matches the stock of your target device.
Its important to know that if we print a mostly highlight neutral
image on a Fuji or XP all we have to do is switch to a brighter stock
if we want the image appear cooler and a yellower stock to give it a
warmer appearance. The absence of ink gives us highlights because the
only white we have in our color pallet is the color of the paper itself.
Other solutions might include using Absolute Colormetric with paper
white at the RIP. Create new profile using UV filtered
spectrophotometers to remove any OBAs. Possibly editing the profile
in the highlight areas, but I'd tend to stay away from that solution
