Doctors of Pigmentology and Distinguished Guests!!
I have recently come into possession of the above mentioned rip/press
combo and was wondering if any of you have had much experience color
managing this setup. What should I be looking out for? I have heard
that the CMY values need to be curved back to a zero after about 75%
because the darkest black you can get is 100% K and any CMY values
underneath that tend to Gray it out. Has anybody experienced this? Are
there other tendencies you can share? I know this is kind of an "entry
level" digital press, but I still need to make it sing the best it can.
Thanks in advance for your input!!
