I'm surprised to hear you have difficulty with the EFI rip. You go through
the linearization, make an ICC profile with, say, PrintOpen, you plug that
profile back into the rip and you say don't get good results?

RGB drivers are not all build the same way. Paper is an important
determinant -- so is the author of the driver. On my old Canon i960, when
profiling in RGB, I get spot on results because that driver is very
predictable.

Other than pissing ink, wasting paper and time? Ooh. I feel your pain.

Ahh! Canvas, the final frontier (tah, tah, tah,,,tah, tah, tah, tah,
tahhhh). Why didn't you say so at the onset. I don't have extensive
experience profiling canvas but I gather that it's in a league of its own.
For comparison, what kind of results are you getting on non-canvas paper?

Out of how many different papers? And what would be the criteria of success?
