C-Fit

I don't work for these guys but I guess the link I'm posting here is of
general color interest : www.FujifilmCfit.com

Maybe we'll hear more about C-Fit in the future maybe we won't, maybe that
product will just die like so many other innovations. But I thought it was
noteworthy that this product is designed to do "adaptative" color
conversions. In other words, it does not just do a static, fixed ICC color
conversions between a source profile and a destination profile, which is
quite a feat in itself when we think of it, but a dynamic color conversions
between a source *image* and a destination profile. This is new. C-Fit was
demoed during GATF 2005 color management conference. But now, they're
finally bringing this technology, 10 years in the making they say, to the
market.

They have is a free trial version on the web site -- sorry guys, only
Windows :(
