Problem solved Intel Mac printing from PS3

To all who so generously responded to help me with my problem, my
sincere thanks. I have solved the problem, albeit not as predictably
as I would have liked.
Here's something odd: after again resetting printer in Printer
Setup Utility, restarting and again installing the Epson SPR2400 30a
and again restarting, menu items in the Epson dioalog box from PS3
were lined-out unavailable as described.
Frustrated, I opened an image in PS2, recreated some of my saved
settings that were wiped out by the Printer Reset (settings for
glossy, semiglossy, etc.) then printed from PS2. Then I quit PS2.
I then re-opened the same image in CS3 and tried to print again. Lo
and behold, all settings are now available. Image printed the same
from both programs.
Perhaps somewhere along the way I hit, or created, a glitch. Or
overlooked my procedure.
