Got a brand new one in the box as a spare!
The point is, the current technology isn't better but in many was inferior
to the old technology which is alarming.

That's really good news! I haven't tried that (the only Intel Mac I have is
an iMac) but I'm seriously looking into a new box for the Artisan.
