Roberto,
I have kept track of my ink consumption on an Epson 7800 over a period of time and have found an average consumption of ink to be 3.92 ml of ink per A3 sheet including routine startup head cleanings when printing photographic images using the Epson driver. However, this number does not include occasional additional head cleanings for which I add a waste factor of 15% for cost purposes.
Hope that helps.

I have the statistics from one of my customers, doing color proofing
on Epson 4000, A3+ paper (ORIS proofing gloss), printed generally in
full A3 size; it's supermarket catalogs.
It comes out at aprox. 22 cartridges of 220ml ink, for 11 boxes of 100
A3+ paper.
That means about 2 ink cartridges per box of paper, or 4.4ml of ink
per A3+ sheet.
At current prices, that means the ink costs are about 20% higher than
theĀ paper costs (premium paper).
Does anyone else have similar statistics to share? it'd be very
interesting to see how much variation there is...
