Yes, me too. And I also wish that people would have enough self-discipline
to discuss Karl's article rather than veer off in a bit of tangential
matter.
Point it, I still don't know what people in this forum think of Karl's
piece! Are we so easily distracted?

I agree. There seems to be some dynamics at play that I can't quite fathom
exactly.

I don't think so. With what? The topic of Karl's paper is of *great*
interest to the ColorSync forum: RAW capture and rendering, with all the
attendant subjects of achieving correct or pleasing color, printing it, etc.
One would think that people would jump on such a topic...and look what
happened instead.

Yes, that "other forum" is not exactly setting a high standard these days.
It may be inappropriate to say so in the Apple ColorSync forum (it may
violate whatever cross-posting rule there may be), but one either gets
banned or muzzled for saying it in that "other forum"...so what is one to
do?
