Am I the only one here that thinks that this stinks?
Well, yeah, probably so. So now you think I, an Apple employee, am
taking orders from my Adobe controllers? A double agent! This
list administrator task gets more and more interesting every day.
What intrigue, the politics, the machiavellian ploy upon ploy.
Sounds pretty complicated.
John, you can only *dream* of being a "double agent". Remember:
I can only imagine what
Aperture could be if Apple courted the same experts that Adobe has
over the
years.
If you haven't been "courted" by Adobe then you are going to have to
stay in purgatory with the rest of us mere mortals :)
Seriously, I wasn't implying any kind of conspiracy here, just that
the pro-pundits are naturally going to dominate the debates because
it is more lucrative for them to spend time doing it.
But that doesn't make their advice any more beneficial for end users
who are looking for genuinely *independent* information.
I don't claim to speak for anybody else here, but I do work at the
rock face - not selling fancy colour management solutions.
I want to share information about innovation and alternatives with
other people who are creating and reproducing images - not be
patronised by people who are "selling solutions".
