I seem to recall, but can't locate, the URL for a visual
demonstration of "color interaction"...
I believe it was posted on this list, but that would have been maybe
4, 5 or 6 years ago. My recollection of the site is that it was from
a University, possibly (rather than an individual). There were
several pages where you could click animations that would show color
(s) relating to each other, or to a neutral gray. Copy was minimal,
only enough to explain the phenomenon being demonstrated.
I occasionally used the site to convince clients to NOT have some
wild, color-rich background on their monitor while evaluating color
fidelity in their images onscreen -- the site had a feel of
"gravitas" that could convince them better than I could.
I've upgraded computers enough since then that I suppose I've thrown
away many things, that link included. Does my sketchy recollection
trigger anyone else's memory?
Regards,
Don Dennis
