Adobe's actions are despicable at best. I have examined the Adobe Code of Business Conduct
http://www.adobe.com/aboutadobe/invrelations/pdfs/code_of_conduct_ext.pdf
and wonder if any of executives involved with the decision know that the document exists. Most printing trade associations (that are not beholden to Adobe) have come out against this favoritism. We have promoted Adobe products to our clients and this is how we are thanked. Printer list serves are all over it.

Like Richard noted, their plea of ignorance stinks to high heavens.

In his posting of Mon, 23 Jul 2007, writes
snip
>The Coalition reinforced its firm commitment to getting the button
>removed by saying, “…should Adobe Systems not comply with this
>request, the Coalition will continue to work actively on this issue,
>exploring any and all options—both legal and otherwise—to have the
>agreement blocked and to encourage our members to explore alternative
>applications to Adobe.”

I am really puzzled as to why Adobe should feel the need to indulge in
this money grabbing and underhand FedEx Kinko’s Deal, which
effectively "shafts" a huge number of their customers. For the CEO to
then plead a level of ignorance is just so pathetic as to be totally
unbelievable.

We are seeing a side of Adobe that I frankly dislike and wonder if
others feel the same.

Cheers

Richard
