So. If A new developer were to create a "great app" as discussed in the "how not to contribute to this forum" thread. What would that be? Yes, the technology is basically there in OS X to do lots of things. So what would you want it to be?

RGB to CMYK conversions.
RGB to RGB conversions / assigning of profiles.
Curves
Masks
etc.


How much of Photoshop like elements would you expect? How much would you be willing to live without?


What do you want it to do for you?

Just asking as I started studying programming for other reasons, and am interested in what other people see as important in an app like Photoshop.
