Hi Scott, I read through Mark Levine's posts a few months ago about
the nature of MonacoPROFILER's linearization process. I now linearize
with MP even if I've linearized in-RIP. Love the results.
I don't remember anything about UV though.
What is the reasoning behind always filtering out the UV energy when
using the lin step in Monaco?
UVexcluded refers to the measurement data that is saved with the
filter in that position. I prefer to use UVexcluded for nearly all
measurement data, especially when using MP's 2-step profiling with
linearization feature. So you've been doing it right! Of course,
opinions will vary about this and hopefully we won't dive into
another UV vs no-UV debate here...
