Because of the profiles I use, I guess, which don't give the same gamut
mapping mapping across the two intents. The perceptual intent is visibly
better to my eyes than the relcol intent. But I'd rather be "faithfull" to
the tints and stay with the relcol intent.
I know all profiles are not created equal and some profilers almost write
the same transform in all tags -- look at SWOPv2.
