Though I haven't yet had a chance to use it, Chromix provides a technology called ColorCast as a part of its ColorThink Pro software.
Its description claims, among other things, that it allows you to "soft- and hard-proof Hexachromeâ„¢ and other n-channel profiles inside Adobe Photoshop with NO plugins".
