Yes, using color could be an idea. About the AdobeRGB profiles,
something happened to that batch. Some images seem untagged, while in
others are tagged with 'Epson-Grey Gamma 2.2' (read using exiftool). I
think it's not a good idea to apply a RGB profile to greyscale, or
whatever happened when those pictures were produced.
