Hi,
Yes I have both displays.
In all fairness though I do not have the Spectraview software with
matched sensor.
I do think the expanded gamut of both displays is rather cool but not
worth the trade off of view angle for critical color work.
With regards to the screen uniformity tools (in both displays) I
found the CG241 more uniform overall.
I think both would be killer "if" they were IPS panels versus
derivatives of "PVAs". IPS panels give you the great view angles,
PVAs do not (they are getting there but they arent there yet).
FYI, the NEC 2690 has a US based cousin, LaCie 526. The Lacie comes
with a hood and software and instrument (private labeled Eye One
Disiplay 2)
Good luck.
When I got my NEC 2690 it didnt come standard with Spectraview
(maybe that
has changed), it was additional cost and no hood.
When I got my Eizo CG241 is came with a hood and software.
Derrick,
As you seem to have both, how do they compare in your opinion?
